Today Leicester City travel to the high spending Chelsea. Both teams have dipped into the transfer market in the close season, but the places the respective managers have shopped could not have been any more different. Backed by their new Russian owner Chelsea have spent millions in an attempt to buy the Premiership trophy, City on the other hand have spent less than 500k in a bid to stay up this season.
Games between the two clubs are usually very exciting and today should be no exception. Expect both teams to come out of the blocks fast and it will be crucial for Leicester to stop Chelsea having too much time on the ball. It is widely expected of course for Chelsea to gain an easy victory but nothing is ever certain in football. It will be a tough test for City but one they will relish.
City will be without captain Matt Elliot who is sidelined for at least six weeks with a broken toe. Adams has cover for the position with new signing Howey and veteran Taggert in contention, Scimeca could also drop back to defense leaving the door open for the exciting Nalis to start. Whatever line up Leicester use you can be sure they will give Chelsea a game. Hard it may well be but impossible it is not.
Good luck guys.
