City’s opening Premiersip game of the season ended in a 2-2 draw. City started the game brightly and found themselves 2-0 within the first ten minutes. A penalty from Dickov and a header from Les Ferdinand gave City the lead.
It was a good first half performance from City but they seemed to tire in the second half. Goals from Beattie and Phillips levelled the scores.
