Goalkeeper Danny Coyne today signed for Leicester City. The 29 year old player signs from Grimsby were he has twice been named player of the season. It is believed no fee was involved.
Coyne has made several starts for the Wales squad and will hope that any Premiership starts he makes will further his international career. The signature ends Micky Adams search for a new goalkeeper as cover to Ian Walker.
City’s attentions must now turn to the attacking side of the squad as Micky wants to add a striker with Premiership experience.
