This season why Adams his staff, and the players have achieved something special.
This squad on skills were far from the best, there were in the other sides individually and in playing tactics better players.
Sheff utd ,Wolves and maybe Norwich should have got automatic
promotion over LCFC,but you know what not one club outside maybe
Portsmouth,produced T E A M performances so consisitently
The team Spirit with a clever manager got us promotion,Players who
just wouldnt give up,and knew and accepted there was no place to hide
and through 46 matches contiensously gave their all. Some I believe
knowing it could be their last season

Yes I do think alot of fans find it hard knowing they are themselves more than grateful to the 2002/2003 squad of players, but know it maybe exactly this heart that needs to be ripped apart to make us competetive in the Premiership.Since the MON days we were proud to be called the grinders und lapped it up as we ironically sang boring boring Leicester .
On outside pundits it was only Brian Little and Claridge
who complimented the fact that City produced a group of players
that proved team spirit and the willingness to never say die brings success.
I bet Warnock wished his players had a snufffull of it
Thank god we have a manager that knows he needs to make big big changes meaning that heart needs a major surgery with all involved
not knowing if the operation might still mean a return to rehab.(DIV1)
City more than anyother team and set of fans need to learn
From the LEEDS experience
This is for me the feeling and experience of this city season”

my feelings?

i guess only one comes straight to mind....PRIDE.

pride in the club in how how they have dealt with all the off-the-field stuff in the dignified and competent way they have.

pride in Micky, his staff and the players in the way they knuckled down and got on with the job despite everything going on around them.

and pride in the fans...the way we stuck by the team when they needed us,when we put our hands in our pockets when asked to,and for defending our team against the narrow minded idiots who sl^gged us off without knowing the facts properly.

yep...im proud to be a LEICESTER FAN.

The season for me was far better than I had hoped for. Over the last few years I had got out of the habit of following City because of other commitments etc. I saw the new stadium as a chance of going to a few matches without the hassle of queuing for tickets or buying a season ticket. I did not envisage that the response for tickets would be so great. I bought a Members Card because I intended to go to at least half a dozen games. The games I did go to I enjoyed (barring Burnley) and it was good to see the team winning. I was worried when administration came. I did not realise how bad the financial situation was. But as time went on I saw the administrators were doing a good job and they obviously knew what they were doing. To then come out of administration and still be faced with hold ups of progressing was annoying. It was obvious to all but a few that the club were in a lot better state than they were and ALL the proposals were accepted by the debtors. But despite this the team showed the fighting spirit that has always been associated with this club and are now back where they belong. I have no comment on next seasons prospects as the team may be different to what it is now. I don't know how many games I will see in the Premiership as I may be getting a job that involves shifts and working Saturdays for the forseeable future. It's not perfect I know but I need to pay bills and other avenues did not seem to be available. But any free Saturday I'll be there if I can plan far enough in advance. I can't miss out on the social gathering before the games can I?
So that's my season, not so much in a nutshell but a coconut.
